Apple has started a fresh developer initiative, “Single Day Pass”, to allow registered developers acceptance to one of its compatibility lab. AppleInsider reveals that Apple now contributes Single Lab Day Passes to associates its Mac Developer Program. The $99 pass allows admission to one of Apple’s compatibility labs for a day. Apple says it has more than 500 configurations on hand for compatibility testing, along with plenty of accessories and networking hardware.
Day Passes are valid for up to 10 developers–all must be registered as Apple Developers. Access to the compatibility labs was previously restricted to associates of the company’s ADC Select and Premier developer programs, but with Apple simplifying the developer program and lowering the amount of admission earlier this year, the aggregation has formed out the new day pass program to allow a broader arrangement of developer’s admission to the facilities.
