Great news is that Apple is accepting iPad pre-orders internationally. According to AppleInsider, Apple announced that the iPad was originally launched in the U.S. and would be available in international markets of 9 new countries on Friday, May 28th. Apple also updated with the price list. Pre-orders are being accepted for both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 3G models in Apple’s online store on Monday, May 10th. Apple will announce Pricing and availability information to the customers in the respective Apple Stores and also plans to expand their international release to 9 additional countries in July.
Customers can download more than 12 million apps from the App Store, as well as more than 1.5 million e-books from the new iBookstore. The device runs 200,000 applications available on the App Store, including more than 5,000 created specifically for the device’s 9.7-inch touchscreen display.
