Apple is preparing the official launch of the new feature with its featured extensions gallery in the future. AppleInsider reveals that Apple has sent an email to developers prompting to submit their Safari 5 extensions for featuring on the company’s new “Safari Extensions Gallery”. Apple released Safari 5 at its Worldwide Developers Conference. Safari 5 includes support for extensions, and will allow users to increase the visibility and add-ones created by third-party developers to offer new functionalities.
Apple still has not provided an official date for the launch, but it does appear to be approaching in the almost near future.
