Apple has released a fresh app called Find My iPhone for users to track their lost iPhones on the go. AppleInsider reports that on Friday Apple introduced its new application for both iPhone and iPad for tracking a lost handset on iOS devices using a separate mobile device.
MobileMe subscribers need to log in to the application using their MobileMe username and password to find their lost iPhone device. Users can also lock the device to protect their private data or can delete the data permanently if they believe that the phone is lost forever. The Find My iPhone app requires iOS version 3.1.3 or later, a subscription of $99 per year and is accessible for both iPhone and iPad.
