The market is abuzz with excitement with Verizon finally announcing the release of its Samsung Galaxy Nexus for the company’s LTE network. Google said that the Android 4.0.3 will be the base edition of ICS for manufacturers and developers to focus on for their devices and applications. This recent update will be inclusive of several performance base enhancements and a number of bug fixes as well as some up to the minute API features for app developers. The Social Stream API has been expanded which will allow third party applications to display check ins and status updates. This will be a revamped Contacts app which hopes to provide some new experience among Android users.
