AppleInsider reveals that the customers who pre-purchased the iPad 3G are receiving notifications that their orders have been shipped before Friday’s launch. Customers will wait until 5 p.m even as devices are available in Apple’s stores.
Apple also revealed that users of 3G models will estimate 9 hours of battery life and Wi-Fi offers capacity of 10 hours. The 3G iPad model starts at a price tag of $130 and 16 GB models starts at $629, the 32GB capacity is $729, and the high-end 64GB offering is $829.
International pricing will be announced when company begins to taking online preorders. Apple also reveals that the iPad will be available at the end of May in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, and the U.K.
