A lot of rumors are circulating about what Apple will pull off for their next smart phone. One of the buzzes is that LG is already working on the 4 inches display for the iPhone 5 and according to The Korea Times; the Korean manufacturer is working on the new display that will be one of the leading features for the new iPhone. A deal was negotiated for $1.1 billion for LG to equip Apple’s new line of smart phone with a four inch screen instead of the regular 3.5 inches screen. This new format is said to compete with other smart phone and tablet manufacturer like HTC Flyer, Galaxy Tab, and Kindle Fire among others.
An unnamed LG official told Korea Times that “Next year’s iPhone to feature a 4-inch display by LG Display, half an inch larger than the 3.5-inch display and retina display resolution will remain unchanged because LCD is currently being regarded as the right solution to offer value with better cost-cuts.“
An inside source who claimed to have worked with a prototype for two weeks informed Business Insider that the new iPhone 5 will feature a bigger screen equipped with a ten megapixel camera. In addition to that, the new smart phone will also come with a sport aluminum back panel making the phone highly durable than its previous design. There is also some rumors that the new iPhone 5 will be using liquid metal technology which will enable them to create the smart phone in a whole variety of colors. With a faster operating system and a skinnier and sleeker build, the new iPhone 5 will certainly grab the lead pack once its release becomes official.
Apple’s iPhone became widely known for its timeless design. However, the market feels that it’s about time that Apple should take their iPhone 5 to a new level and improve its looks. So aside from providing a tougher and more durable casing, the new iPhone 5 may also come in a newly designed body. 4G capabilities may also be introduced so browsing the internet will be much faster and more precise. Competing brands already advertised their 4G features and this could be another reason for Apple to step up their new line of iPhone and have it equipped with 4G. When it comes to processing speed, the new iPhone 5 is more likely to have the A6 processor which is faster than the A4 dual processor being used by the iPhone 4S. The upgraded A6 processor will allow for a faster browsing experience which will certainly put Apple way ahead of its competitors.
With no official release date yet, Apple fans will continue to speculate as to when the iPhone 5 will become available in the market. And while Apple is not your typical company that likes so much fanfare, the new iPhone 5 will certainly be a big deal in the market once it is released.
